TRIMMY

Terms of service

Last updated: July 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of Trimmy. By registering a shop or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Trimmy is a booking platform for salons, barbershops and studios. Each business is a separate tenant with its own team, services, schedule and clients. Features may change as we improve the product.

Your business and your clients

Trimmy is a tool you use to run your business. It is not a party to the relationship between you and your clients, and we do not provide any salon, barbershop, studio or other personal-care service ourselves.

You alone are responsible for:

  • The services you offer, their descriptions, durations and prices.
  • The appointments you accept, reschedule, cancel, miss or do not fulfil, and any resulting complaint, dispute or claim from a client.
  • Your staff, opening hours, premises, equipment and the quality and safety of the work you deliver.
  • Your own no-show, cancellation and refund policies towards your clients — and any money that changes hands between you and them. We bill only your own subscription; we do not currently process payments between you and your clients.
  • The accuracy of everything you publish through Trimmy, including business details, prices and any content or images you upload.
  • Complying with the laws, taxes, licensing, insurance and professional rules that apply to your business, and with data protection law as the controller of your clients' booking data (see the privacy policy).

Accounts

Shop owners and staff have accounts with role-based access (Owner, Team Leader, Employee). You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Passwords must meet our security policy.

Free trial

New shops receive a 30-day free trial with full access, available once. The trial runs through our payment provider (Stripe), so a payment method (card) is registered when it starts; you are not charged during the trial. When the trial ends, it converts to a paid monthly or yearly subscription and your payment method is charged, unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through our payment provider, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

If a payment fails, a grace period applies during which the service keeps working while you update your payment method. If the subscription lapses, most dashboard features pause, but billing and settings remain accessible so you can recover.

Payments between you and your clients

We bill your own subscription. Payments for appointments are currently handled in your business, and we are not a party to them.

We may make in-app payment features available in future — for example, taking client payments through the mobile apps via a payment provider. Any such feature is optional, is separate from your subscription, and additional terms will apply, including those of the payment provider. Those terms will be presented to you before you enable it.

Whether or not you use such a feature, you remain responsible for your prices and what you charge, for your own refund, no-show and cancellation policies, for resolving disputes, chargebacks and complaints with your clients, and for your own invoicing, tax and consumer-law obligations. We are not responsible for the acts, availability, fees or decisions of a payment provider.

VAT & business details

Shops must provide accurate business details, including a valid EU VAT number, which is validated against VIES. You are responsible for keeping these details up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. See our cancellation & refund policy for how cancellations and refunds are handled.

Availability — no uptime guarantee

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work hard to keep Trimmy online and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we offer no service level agreement.

Access may be interrupted, delayed or degraded by maintenance, updates, technical faults, or events outside our reasonable control — including failures at our hosting, network, email, payment or push-notification providers, and internet or power outages. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may carry out urgent maintenance without prior notice.

Because of this, you should not rely on Trimmy as your only record of business-critical information. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose, and have a way to serve your clients if the service is temporarily unavailable.

Third-party services

Trimmy depends on third parties, including Stripe (subscription payments), our hosting and email providers, push-notification services, and the EU VIES system for VAT validation. We are not responsible for their availability, performance, acts or omissions, and their own terms may apply to your use of them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost or missed bookings, lost revenue, profits, savings, goodwill, business or opportunity; unfilled appointment slots or wasted staff time and costs; loss or corruption of data; or damage to your reputation or to your relationships with your clients — however caused, and whether arising from downtime, delay, interruption, a defect, or a message, email or notification that is delayed or not delivered.

We are also not liable for anything arising out of the operation of your own business or your dealings with your clients, including disputes about appointments, services, prices, no-shows, cancellations or refunds.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service, in any twelve-month period, is limited to the subscription fees you actually paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for intentional misconduct or gross negligence on our part.
