Confirm your takings
How Trimmy captures every sale, and how to confirm what you actually charged.
Trimmy turns every finished appointment into revenue you can trust. When an appointment's end time passes it's marked completed automatically and the service's list price is recorded as a provisional estimate — so nothing goes unrecorded, even on a busy day.
Confirm what you actually charged
- Open Takings to confirm — the worklist of auto-completed appointments still holding an estimate, oldest first.
- Tap Confirm takings on an appointment.
- Check or correct the amount charged. It's pre-filled with the estimate and includes VAT.
- Choose the payment method: cash, card or other.
- Confirm. The sale is now recorded and leaves the list.
Record takings as you finish
You can also record takings the moment you finish a client: open the appointment on the calendar, mark it completed, enter the amount and payment method, and it's confirmed straight away — so it never reaches the worklist.
A confirmed sale is final and can only be corrected by a reversal, so enter the real figure. Amounts are in euros and include VAT.
Frequently asked
Why do I need to confirm takings?
Auto-completed appointments hold the list price as an estimate until you confirm the real amount, so your revenue and statistics reflect what was actually charged. It takes a couple of taps.
